About Me

Hi, I'm Nicole

Growing up in a warm climate, wool never crossed my mind. Who thinks about cashmere sweaters when they’re sunning at the beach? But all that changed when I moved to the Pacific Northwest. The scenery? Gorgeous. The winters? Not so much! Suddenly I had to learn to keep myself warm. Wool socks? Base layers? What is all this stuff?!

From soft wool sweaters to chunky wool blankets, now I just can’t get enough wool. But probably like you, I was initially hesitant to invest in high-quality wool products because I didn’t know how to take care of them. Well I’ve done tons of research, tried dozens of techniques and products, and learned — sometimes the hard way — how to properly wash wool. Now I get to share that info with you!

Wool is kinda magical, don’t you think?

If you’re into spending time in nature, wool is your best friend. It wicks moisture, is naturally antimicrobial, and maintains its warmth even when wet. It’s the perfect material for your hiking socks or base layers.

Or maybe you just want a cozy night on the couch with your favorite book? What could be better than a soft, fluffy wool sweater to keep you warm?

Alpaca, cashmere, mohair, merino…

There’s so many varieties of wool, each with their own special look, feel, and properties. Some are as soft as a silky cloud, others as warm as a furnace. But all of them are fantastic, beautiful additions to your wardrobe or home. With the right care, they can last you for many years to come!
